Job Description

Our client, a Forensic Accouting & Litigation Service,  is seeking Senior Associates to join its team of professionals.

The Senior Associate will conduct and prepare a wide range of forensic financial analyses with minimal assistance. A Senior Associate has a unique job which will require strong analytical, creative, investigative, research, and organizational skills, as well as familiarity with a variety of the fields concepts, practices and procedures.

Under the general supervision of a Manager, The Senior Associate will maintain excellent client relationships by delivering high quality customer service and competently completing client engagements. The Senior Associate may delegate and lead the work of other staff. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Requirements:

-Successful candidates will have a minimum of four years public accounting or related experience along with a demonstrated record of progressively increasing skill, responsibility and independence. In addition, sound written and verbal communication skills, an ability to work independently or as part of a team and the
capacity to appropriately interact with all levels of Firm management and staff, clients and other external business contacts are required.

-A Bachelors degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance is required. If not yet holder of CPA or CFE certifications, thought should be given to achieving appropriate professional certifications. If appropriate, incumbents may be asked to participate in specific career development programs. Individuals
in this position must have demonstrated computer skills and experience with accounting software is helpful. A valid drivers license is required.

Tasks & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

-Complete most engagements with a minimum amount of supervision. This will include conducting and performing forensic financial analyses, building models, maintaining documents produced in litigation, summarizing depositions, assisting in report writing, and performing quality control procedures on schedules and reports. He/she will make decisions on all but the most unusual or complex matters. When problems arise, the Senior Associate will outline the issue for a Manager or Principal and then act on the proffered advice.
-May direct staff, instructing them in work to be performed, reviewing their completed work and directing any necessary revisions or actions.
-Determines engagement timelines, in conjunction with the engagement Manager/ Principal, and instructs assistants in time management methods allowing them to efficiently and effectively accomplish the Firms objectives.
-Develop and maintain excellent client relationships.
-Participate in Firm business development efforts, including the development of presentations, proposals and qualifications packages. Represents Firm at business and community functions in order to maintain current, acquire new and expand existing client relationships. Represents Firm through involvement in professional, recruiting, charitable and /or civic organizations.

Required:

-Public Accounting or consulting experience, preferred CPA or CFE
-Forensic Accounting & Litigation support is one of the fastest growing & exciting areas of accounting and financial professions.
-Forensic Accounting & Litigation Services group provides consulting support to attorneys to quantify and opine on complex commercial damages in litigation matters, such as:
-Fraud & white collar crime
-Intellectual property infringements
-Professional negligence
-Contract disputes
-and Construction disputes.
